The greatest advantage of Mr. Qi Gong's book is that it is not mysterious, very practical and concise. The second book is about art by Bai Jiao.
Bai Jiao (1907- 1969), whose real name is He, whose name is Rule of Law, whose name is Xiang, whose name is Xu Ru, was later renamed Bai Jiao. He is the author of Yunjian Art Notes, Luji Poetry Draft, Interview, Ten Lectures on Calligraphy, Academic Lectures on Calligraphy, etc. Mr Bai Jiao is a master of modern calligraphy, especially his cursive script. Judging from his representative works, Long Volume with Lan Titles, Miscellaneous Books and Old Sentences with Lan Titles, and Poems Written by Self, his calligraphy went deep into the Jin and Tang Dynasties, with a sincere charm, which really won the essence of Jin people.
The third book is Zhou's Eight Laws of Yongzi.
Zhou (19 18-20 12) was named He Min 'an. Contemporary A Dream of Red Mansions, the masterpiece A New Proof of A Dream of Red Mansions. In the study of calligraphy, his Eight Laws of Yongzi, like Zhou's research works of A Dream of Red Mansions, almost every conclusion is supported by considerable evidence. In this book, the author thinks the most important chapter is about flattery. Mr. Zhou pointed out, "Autumn is not rigid, frenzied or impulsive; It's cool, sharp, tight and clean, never loose, never broken, never lost, never tired. Charming is not coquetry, nor posturing, posturing, posturing; But elegance and charm, meaning and expression, not rough and wild, not vulgar, not sweet and not soft, not pale and not mean. " This is of great significance for later scholars to grasp the aesthetic style of calligraphy in Jin Dynasty and make clear their own direction of efforts. If the first two books (Qi Gong teaches you to learn calligraphy and Bai Jiao on art) remain at the level of "technique", then Mr. Zhou's books have begun to enter the level of "Tao"
