What are the non-traditional security issues?

Non-traditional security issues include economic security, financial security, ecological environment security, information security, resource security, terrorism, weapons proliferation, disease spread, transnational crime, drug smuggling, illegal immigration, piracy and money laundering.

Non-traditional security issues have obvious transnational characteristics from generation to solution, which are not only individual issues of a certain country, but also issues related to the interests of other countries or all mankind. It not only poses a security threat to a certain country, but also may endanger the national security of other countries to varying degrees. Citizens and organizations shall perform the following obligations to safeguard national security:

(1) Abide by the relevant provisions of the Constitution, laws and national security regulations;

(two) timely report clues that endanger national security activities;

(3) Truthfully providing known evidence of activities endangering national security;

(four) to provide convenience or other assistance for national security work;

(5) Providing necessary support and assistance to state security organs, public security organs and relevant military organs;

(6) Keeping known state secrets;

(seven) other obligations stipulated by laws and administrative regulations.

No individual or organization may commit acts that endanger national security, or provide any financial assistance or assistance to individuals or organizations that endanger national security.

State organs, people's organizations, enterprises, institutions and other social organizations shall educate their personnel on safeguarding national security, and mobilize and organize their personnel to prevent and stop acts endangering national security.

The acts of citizens and organizations supporting and assisting national security work are protected by law. If the personal safety of himself or his close relatives is threatened by supporting or assisting the work of state security, he may request protection from the public security organ or the state security organ. Public security organs and state security organs shall, jointly with relevant departments, take protective measures according to law.

Article 2 of the National Security Law of People's Republic of China (PRC) refers to the ability of state power, sovereignty, unity and territorial integrity, people's well-being, sustainable economic and social development and other major national interests to be relatively free from danger and internal and external threats, and to ensure a continuous state of security.
