Types of ignition system of Wuling B12 engine

There are three types of ignition systems:traditional ignition system, electronic ignition system and microcomputer control ignition system.

Automotive electronic ignition system consists of sensors and their interfaces, microcomputers, actuators and other components.

Conventional Ignition System

The conventional ignition system mainly consists of power supply (battery and generator), ignition switch, ignition coil, capacitor, circuit breaker, distributor, spark plug, damping resistor and high voltage conductor. The switch is used to control the opening and closing of the instrumentation circuits, the ignition system primary circuit and the starter relay circuit.

Electronic Ignition System

The most basic function of an electronically controlled ignition system is ignition advance control. According to the signals from the relevant sensors, the system judges the working conditions and status of the engine and selects the most ideal ignition advance angle to ignite the mixture, thus improving the combustion process of the engine and achieving the purpose of improving engine power, economy and reducing emission pollution.

Microcomputer control ignition system

Microcomputer system detects the engine speed and load through the sensor, so as to check the optimal control parameters stored in the memory, so as to get the optimal ignition advance angle of the primary circuit of the ignition coil and the optimal angle of closure under the condition, and then realizes the purpose of control through the control of transistor's on/off time.
