Is the inside of a chabata wet or dry pasta
Chabata has wet noodles inside. To make chappatas, the dough needs to be kneaded in water so that it fully absorbs the water and forms a uniform dough. The dough is then divided into portions, rolled into small balls, then flattened by hand on a baking sheet to form a pancake shape, and finally baked in the oven. Since the dough fully absorbs the moisture, the chappatas produce water vapor during baking, giving them a softer and wetter texture. Of course, there may be variations in the modern method of making chappatas, which are also made with dry flour, but traditionally chappatas are made with wet flour.
