Technological process of Rizhao green tea production

Rizhao green tea is one of the famous green teas in China. It has a strong Gao Shuang flavor and is one of the traditional famous teas in China. The production process of Rizhao green tea is as follows:

1. Picking: generally, it is picked after Grain Rain, before and after Qingming, and in autumn, especially young leaves.

2. Sun-drying: Sun-drying the picked tender leaves on the outdoor threshing floor, and then stirring by hand to make them dry evenly.

3. Stir-fry: Take the sun-dried tea leaves and stir fry. In the process of frying, it is necessary to constantly turn over and control the temperature, so that the moisture of tea leaves is constantly volatilized.

4. Kneading: Knead the fried tea into a more uniform rope shape.

5. Drying: The twisted tea leaves are dried to reduce the water content to about 2-3%, and then packaged and sold.
