Short for Nanqu
Nanqu is called Nanxi for short. Southern Opera is the earliest traditional opera in southern China from the end of Northern Song Dynasty to the end of Yuan Dynasty to the beginning of Ming Dynasty, that is, from 12 to 14, and it is one of the earliest mature forms of China's drama. Nanqu has many different names. In the south, it is called traditional Chinese opera, Wenzhou Zaju, Yongjia Zaju, Stork Soup, Nanqu and so on. Ming and Qing dynasties are also called legends. As far as its music, Nanqu, is concerned, it is an important opera vocal system, and it is the basis for the rise and development of many vocal operas such as Haiyan Opera, Yu Yaoqiang Opera, Kunshan Opera and Yiyang Opera.
