Maotai Distillery is a famous winery in China. Maotai Group is a joint-stock company with a registered capital of 1.85 million yuan, which was approved by Zi Han (1999) No.291of Guizhou Provincial People's Government. It is located in Maotai Town on the Chishui River in northern Guizhou.

Maotai Distillery is a wine-producing area under the Maotai Group.

3. The varieties of wine produced are different:

Maotai factory produces Maotai liquor in the traditional sense, which is one of the three major distilled liquors with the same reputation as Scotch whisky and French cognac, and is the originator of Daqu Maotai-flavor liquor. Maotai Group produces a series of wines.
