What does the label include?

The national mandatory standard GB 52964- 1998 Instructions for the Use of Consumer Goods: Instructions for the Use of Textiles and Clothing (hereinafter referred to as the "Standard") has been officially implemented since June 5438+ 10/day, 2000. The standard stipulates that clothing tag printing (including washing signs, packaging, etc. ) should have the following contents.

1, name and address of manufacturer

When designing a clothing tag, the name and address of the factory must be indicated, and the name and address of the factory must be registered in the industrial and commercial department. Imported clothing can only indicate the place of origin, but it must also indicate the name and address of the agent registered in China.

2. Product name

Require priority to use national standard names, such as "men's suits"; If there is no provision in the standard, a name or common name that will not cause misunderstanding should be selected, such as "casual pants"; It is allowed to use "strange name" and "trademark name", but the normal name should be marked on the same part, which means that the printed clothing tag must have the above contents.

Step 3 size

It is required to mark the clothing specifications according to the new size standard, and the existing old size specifications such as "S, M, L, XL" shall not be used alone. The size should be marked according to the size (height) and type (chest circumference and waist circumference) of the human body; Considering the consumption habits of some consumers, it is still allowed to mark the old and new sizes at the same time, but the new size should be ranked first.

4, fiber composition and content

Standard fiber names are required, and generic names, scientific names and foreign languages are not allowed on the clothing tag; Because the fiber composition of different parts of a garment is different, it should be marked separately, such as the fabric, filler and lining of cotton-padded jacket.

Pure wool, 100% polyester and 100 viscose fiber are correctly marked as fabric: pure wool, filler: 100% polyester and lining: 100% viscose fiber.

5, washing method

It is required that the washing and ironing methods of clothes must be marked on the tag, and the operation methods of washing, chlorine bleaching, ironing, dry cleaning and drying after washing should be marked in turn to provide correct washing instructions for consumers.
