The traditional festivals of Dai people in China and some ethnic groups in Indochina Peninsula are in the middle of April in the solar calendar. During the festival, people dressed in costumes, splashed water on each other and wished each other happiness, and carried out activities such as worshipping Buddha, dragon boat racing, cultural performances and material exchange.
