Using small tube outflow has the following advantages:
(1) energy saving, less clogging problems and simple water treatment. The diameter of the small tube emitter channel is much larger than the diameter of the drip irrigation emitter channel or orifice, which solves the problem that the drip irrigation system emitter is easy to block by using large flow. Therefore, it is generally enough to install a 60 ~ 80 mesh screen filter at the head of the system (the filter medium of the drip irrigation system filter needs 120 ~ 200 mesh). If well water with good water quality is used for irrigation or a pool with good water quality is used for irrigation, no filter can be installed. At the same time, because the filter mesh is large and the head loss is small, it not only reduces the energy consumption, but also prolongs the washing cycle.
(2) Convenient fertilization. When fertilizing fruit trees, the chemical fertilizer solution can be injected into the pipeline and enter the soil in the root zone of crops with irrigation water, or the chemical fertilizer can be evenly scattered in the infiltration ditch to dissolve and enter the soil with water. Especially when applying organic fertilizers, all kinds of organic fertilizers can be put into the soil under the infiltration ditch and matured under suitable water, heat and gas conditions, so as to give full play to the fertilizer efficiency and solve the problem that organic fertilizers cannot be applied in drip irrigation.
(3) Save water. Small-tube outflow irrigation is a local irrigation technology, which only moistens part of the soil in the active layer of crop roots on both sides of the infiltration ditch, so the water utilization rate is high, and it is water distribution through pipe network without leakage loss. According to the experiment in Haidian District, Beijing, it saves more than 60% water than surface irrigation.
