Who is Ma Jinfeng

Ma Jinfeng, formerly known as Cui, nicknamed Jinni, born in 1922 in Cao County, Shandong Province, is a Yu opera actress and one of the six famous dancers of Yu opera.

Ma Jinfeng, at the age of 6 with his father to learn Hebei Opera, 7 years old on stage with the play, 9 years old to learn Yu Opera. 14 years old formally on stage to take the lead role in the play, the early stage name of the "Flower Moths", in the late 40s in Jieshou City, Anhui Province, nicknamed "Gaijiuzhou", representative works include "Two Flowers", "Two Flowers", "Two Moths", "Two Flowers", "Two Flowers", and "Two Moths". He was nicknamed "Gai Jiuju", and his masterpieces include "Two Flowers and One Hanging", namely "Mu Guiying Takes Command", "Flower Playing Dynasty", and "Flower Gun Edge".

Artistic Characteristics

Singing

Ma Jinfeng's voice is bright and pure, crisp and mellow, with a solid and supple tone. The singer is good at the narrative "Yu Dong Tune" and "Er Ba Pan", and absorbs the tones of Shandong Opera and melts them; the structure of the singing is strict, the melody is concise and simple, the rhythm is bright and stretching, and the technique is skillful. It is characterized by robustness and boldness, depth and mellowness.

Performance

Ma Jinfeng's roles are older, and her style differs from that of other performers in that she doesn't have the grooming and threading that characterizes Hua Dan's performances. Except for Wang Yueying's "three in, three out" and "fish eating" performances in "Flower Playing Dynasty", which borrowed the acting skills of the colorful dan and were more exaggerated, the performances in the other plays were more subtle and introverted.
