What are the types of Japanese knives?

"Japanese Dao" is a general term. Like modern firearms, it has many different categories.

Traditionally, it is divided into 26 kinds according to shape.

Twenty-six shapes, their specific names and uses are as follows:

A, [Jade Collar Horizontal Knife] Yi Shi Grand Priest's special knife, only he can take it;

Second, [Jie Dao] is similar to China's Fang Shangjian, which was awarded by the emperor to foreign envoys;

Three, [instrument knife] for the use of guards;

5. [Painting Taidao], also called Kanto Fuwei Taidao, is a knife used to show official rank. Use gold for more than three people and silver for less than four people;

Nine, [sheath roll] This thing is a command knife, beautifully decorated, and all parts are inlaid with gold and silver. Used by battlefield commanders. It belongs to the same species as wild Taidao.

X. [Rib difference] A short knife hung on the waist, but it is not a special knife for abdominal incision (this is a misunderstanding), but is used to break nails. In other words, this thing can be used against soldiers wearing heavy armor;
