Qiao Family Compound is in Qixian County, Jinzhong City, Shanxi Province.
Qiao family compound is a national key cultural relics protection units, also known as in the Hall, located in Qixian, Shanxi Province, Qiao Jia Fort village, was built in 1756, the entire compound was a double "Xi" shape, divided into six large courtyard, the inner set of 20 small courtyard, 313 houses. It is surrounded by up to 10 meters high fully enclosed brick wall, the gate for the city gate type hole, is an ancient house with the northern traditional residential architectural style.
The Qiao Family Residence has more than 5,000 pieces of precious relics on display, focusing on the folklore of the area around Jinzhong, Shanxi Province; agricultural customs, life rituals, seasons, clothing, food, housing and transportation, business customs and folk crafts; and there are also displays of Qiao family history, Qiao family treasures, film and television specialties, and so on.
