What is the brewing process of beer?

Beer was first produced at the end of19th century, and its early technology was backward. Later, it became more and more mature, and the production technology tended to be perfect, reaching the quality requirements. Simply put, the beer production process can be divided into four parts, namely malting, saccharification, fermentation and canning. Raw materials need malt, hops, water and yeast, of which water accounts for 90% of beer. With the progress of science and technology, beer technology is also moving from industrialization to automation, and finally to intelligence.

1, malting

Malt for making beer is made from barley, which is first germinated in water and air, then dried to inhibit its growth, then its roots are removed, and finally malt is made.

2. Saccharification (function)

First, rice, starch, corn and a part of malt are poured into a pot and boiled to make the water evaporate and become sticky. Then, add a proper amount of warm water and pour in the remaining malt. At this time, all the starch in it will become maltose, and then it will be filtered, leaving transparent wort, which is syrup. Finally, pour hops into wort and boil, and you can smell the unique aroma and slightly bitter taste of beer.

Step 3 ferment

After the wort is cooled, add yeast and let it ferment slowly. In the process of fermentation, wort will gradually decompose into carbon dioxide and alcohol, and "tender beer" will be formed in a week or so. It takes dozens of days to ferment, mature slowly, and finally filter to get the draft beer that we often see and taste. This kind of beer is amber and fragrant.

4. canning

We saw the canned or bottled beer outside, that is, the draft beer was canned, and it was put into the beer box and sold in the market through liquid detector and visual inspection.
