The working principle of the shaking table: its magnetoelectric meter head has two movable coils at a certain angle to each other, which are installed outside the notched cylindrical iron core and fixed on the rotating shaft together with the pointer to form the movable part of the meter head, which is placed in a permanent magnet, and the air gap between the magnetic pole of the magnet and the iron core is uneven. Because the pointer has no damping spring, it can stay at any position when the instrument is not used.

The shaking table consists of a hand-cranked generator, a voter and three terminals (namely, L: line end, E: grounding end and G: shielding end), which are widely used in coal mine installation and maintenance, and are suitable for checking the insulation of motors, electrical appliances and lines and measuring high-value resistance.

1, selection of shaking table

(1) The rated voltage of the shaking table must be compatible with the working voltage of the electrical equipment or line under test. Generally, for equipment with rated voltage below 500 volts, choose 500 volts or 1000 volts shaking table; For equipment with rated voltage of 500 volts and above, choose 1000~2500 volts shaking table.

(2) The range of the shaking table should be consistent with the range of the measured insulation resistance, so as not to cause a large reading error.

(1) Wiring of vibration table

The vibrating table has three terminal buttons, which are marked L (line), E (grounding) and G (shielding) respectively.

When measuring the insulation resistance of power equipment to ground, L should be connected to the tested equipment and E should be reliably grounded.

(2) Inspection of shaking table

Open circuit test: Before connecting the shaking table to the measured resistance, shake the handle to make the generator reach the rated speed 120r/min, and observe whether the pointer is at the position of scale "∞".
