Is manual labor a traditional outdated form of labor? Give reasons.

The age has long since frowned upon manual labor. People have become accustomed to seeing its full value only in a negative light, with muddy hands, sweaty backs, slow, laborious work, but a few small profits. In terms of modern development, manual labor is a backward mode of production that should be eliminated.

In the trend of modernization driven by industrial machinery, the speed and breadth of the elimination of handicrafts is often used to measure the degree of progress and development of a country and nation. The basic reason, of course, is that it is unlikely to bring about rapid economic growth or provide ever-increasing material wealth for the endless desire to consume.
