Five kinds of rock tea

Dahongpao is a famous fir series, but because of its highest popularity, a series is listed separately.

Dahongpao, according to the classification in the market, can be divided into the following three categories.

(1) Beidou No.1 Dahongpao: The direct descendant of Dahongpao planted on Beidou Peak was cultivated by teacher Yuet-Ming Yiu by cutting off the branches of the mother tree Dahongpao.

(2) Qidan Dahongpao: Teacher Chen Dehua cut branches from the mother tree Dahongpao, and the cuttings were successfully cultivated. He named these tea trees Qidan, followed by Qidan Dahongpao.

(3) Matching Dahongpao: refers to Dahongpao where more than two tea leaves of the mother tree Dahongpao are matched together; For example, cinnamon and daffodils are put together, or they are the main ingredients, and people also make it into a commodity Dahongpao.

2, cinnamon series

Cinnamon is a traditional tea variety in Wuyishan and one of the main varieties of Wuyi rock tea.

Speaking of osmanthus tea, its most famous name is that it has no cinnamon fragrance.

Beef: osmanthus tea from Niulankeng.

Horse meat: cinnamon tea produced in Matouyan.

Huirou: osmanthus tea produced in Huiyuankeng.

3. Narcissus series

Wuyi Rock Tea Old Fir Narcissus is one of the main varieties of Wuyi Rock Tea.

The planting area of narcissus tea is the largest in Wuyishan and even Fujian.

Speaking of narcissus tea, its most famous name is that alcohol is no better than narcissus. Narcissus tea has the most outstanding mellow feeling, and the older the tea tree is, the more obvious this mellow feeling is.

Narcissus tea can be divided into common narcissus, tall fir narcissus and old fir narcissus. At present, the daffodils of Gaoshan and Laoshan are popular in the market.

Gaoshan Narcissus, Wuyi Narcissus tea tree, 30 years old, is generally called Gaoshan Narcissus.

Old fir narcissus, Wuyi narcissus tea tree, can be called old fir narcissus if the tree age reaches more than 50 or 60 years.

4, the famous cluster series

It refers to the long-term breeding of' vegetable tea', which has excellent natural varieties and typical rock rhyme characteristics of rock tea, and is named tea tree single fir.

Vegetable tea: it is just as common as growing vegetables, and it is casually planted in front of and behind the house.

Fir, the best rock name, originally had five varieties: Dahongpao, Arhat, White Crow, Water Turtle and Half-day Waist; Later, the variety of half-day waist was gradually ignored, so there were four famous sayings of fir trees.

Lohan: Lohan is a tall tree with lush growth, long and big leaves, tender and bright leaves, and good growth and good quality after asexual reproduction.

Bletilla striata Crown: Originated from the ghost cave outside the flame peak of Hui Yuan Rock in Wuyishan, when the tea tree sprouts and the tender leaves first appear, the new shoots are as thin as thick, and the color is light green and yellowish. It forms a bright two-color layer with the thick green old leaves on the tree, which is also the origin of the name of Celosia cristata.

Shuijinggui: Shuijinggui tea tree originated from Dugezhai village in Tianxinyan. One day, it rained cats and dogs, and the edge of the tea garden at the top of the mountain collapsed, and the tea trees were washed into the semi-rock depression at the head of Niulan pit. The owner of Languyan chiseled stones, built stone fences and covered them with soil to store them, and named them Shuijinggui.

1989, Shile Temple and Tianxin Temple were the property rights of water turtles, which cost thousands of dollars. Later, the court ruled that the tea tree was naturally formed and awarded it to Gu Lan. The water turtle has gray bark, slightly curved branches, rectangular leaves, emerald green, luster and excellent quality. It is one of the five famous Chinese fir trees in Wuyishan Rock Tea.

Half-day waist: originated from the mountainside of Sanhuafeng in Kowloon, formerly known as half-day harrier. Its name comes from Yongle period of Ming Dynasty, which is homophonic with waist. Because I grew up halfway up the mountain, I became a half-day waist over time.

Half-day waist is a shrub with oval leaves, dark green, smooth leaves and shallow serrations. The finished tea has rich and long aroma and sweet taste.

5. Odd series

Wuyishan wild tea tree species, Wuyishan unknown wild tea tree species or vegetable tea tree species, that is to say, unclear tea, are all called exotic species.

Exotic species are also the mother species of many famous teas. The real high-end black tea Jin Junmei comes from Wuyi alien species.
