What is the architectural concept of Kazushi Meshima

The principle that Kazushi Meshima follows should be the concept of space, which she derives from the traditional Japanese aesthetic sense: obscurity, which she understands as the rejection of clear spatial order, i.e., the rejection of clear correspondence between space and function. Note that she is rejecting clarity and pursuing ambiguity, not rejecting correspondence and order. Her design for the 21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art in Kanazawa is a good example of her principles: the low, rounded building with a 360-degree transparent and open glass curtain wall blurs the boundaries between indoor and outdoor and indoor spaces, which are instead understood by the users to be penetrating and flowing.
