How to draw a portrait of a person

Draw a portrait of a person, outline the shadow through carving, and make people have a stronger three-dimensional sense. Let's draw a portrait of Lei Feng together.

Tools/Materials Paper, Pen

0 1 get a pen and paper ready.

Draw an arc on the paper first. This is the outline of the hat.

Draw a circle on the hat, draw a pentagram in the circle, and then paint the part between the circle and the pentagram black with a pen. Draw a crescent from the left side of the circle, also painted black, indicating the thickness of the badge.

Draw two arcs at the bottom of the hat emblem, one narrow and one wide. Both arcs are outlined in black to indicate the brim of the hat. Draw two spikes on the left side of the hat, both of which are painted black to show the shadow on the side of the hat.

Draw two arcs under the brim, which is also outlined in thick black. It means eyebrows.

Draw two short arcs under the eyebrows to represent the upper eyelids, and draw two semicircles in the middle of the eyelids to represent the eyes. Eyelids and eyes are drawn in thick black lines.

Under your eyes, draw a bat shape and paint it black to show your nose.

Draw a water chestnut under the nose, indicating the upper lip, also painted black, and draw a semicircle under the mouth, also painted black, indicating the shadow under the lower lip.

Draw an arc to the upper right in the shadow to expose the chin, and then draw the outline of the face from both ends of the hat to the chin. Draw a circle on the left and a chubby one. Draw a semicircle on each side of the face to expose the ear, and draw a crescent shadow inside the ear.

10 Draw two sharp collars from the chin down, and draw three broken lines in the middle of the collars to indicate the shadow on the collars. At this point, Lei Feng finished painting, because the whole painting highlights the shadow, so the three-dimensional sense is very strong.
