Basic principle of AC servo motor speed regulation

The basic principle of AC servo motor speed regulation is to control the input voltage or current of servo motor by using control algorithm, so as to change the speed and steering of servo motor. The AC servo motor usually uses permanent magnet synchronous motor as the driving motor, and the current and voltage of the motor are accurately controlled by control algorithm, so as to realize high-precision speed and position control.

In AC servo system, speed closed-loop and position closed-loop control methods are usually adopted. The speed closed loop measures the speed of the motor and feeds it back to the controller. The controller adjusts the input voltage or current of the motor according to the difference between the set speed and the actual speed, thus changing the speed of the motor. The position closed loop measures the position of the motor through position sensors such as encoders and feeds it back to the controller. The controller adjusts the input voltage or current of the motor according to the difference between the set position and the actual position, so as to control the position of the motor.

Commonly used control algorithms include PID control, fuzzy control and neural network control. PID control is a simple and effective control algorithm, which regulates the input voltage or current of the motor through three links of proportion, integration and differentiation, so as to realize high-precision control of the speed and position of the motor. Fuzzy control is a control algorithm based on fuzzy logic, which realizes fuzzy control of motor input voltage or current through fuzzy processing of motor speed and position. Neural network control is a control algorithm based on neural network. By learning and processing the historical data of the motor, the adaptive control of the input voltage or current of the motor is realized.
