Are Mongolian and Mongolian in Inner Mongolia the same?
Mongolian (Cyrillic Mongolian: монголхэл) belongs to Altaic Mongolian family, and is mainly used in Mongolian inhabited areas in China, Mongolia and the Siberian Federal District of the Russian Federation.
Influenced by the former Soviet Union in 1950s and 1960s, the Mongolian language currently used in Mongolia is mainly spelled with Cyrillic letters. Russian kalmyk and Buryatian are considered as dialects of Mongolian. Due to the influence of environment and strict language structure requirements, most Mongolian youth no longer use their mother tongue to communicate, which seriously affects their inheritance.
