They all believe it.

It was the sudden passion that brought them together.

This determination is beautiful,

But impermanence is more beautiful.

Because they have never met, they are very sure.

Have nothing to do with each other

But listen to the words coming from the streets, stairs and corridors-they may have passed by a million times?

I want to ask them.

I don't remember-

At the revolving door

Face to face?

Or mumbling "sorry" in the crowd?

Or the abrupt "wrong number" intercepted on the receiver?

However, I know their answers.

Yes, they don't remember.

If they know, they will be very surprised.

Fate played with them.

A few years.

It's not completely finished.

Prepare for their fate,

Fate pushed them closer and drove them away,

hold one's laughter

Get in their way,

Then step aside.

There are some signs and signals,

Even if they don't understand it.

Maybe three years ago.

Or just last Tuesday

There is a leaf flying.

Side by side?

You dropped something and picked it up?

Who knows, maybe it's that one

A ball that disappeared in the childhood bush?

And I've already touched it beforehand.

One night, maybe it was the same dream,

It became blurred in the morning.

Every beginning

After all, it's just a sequel,

About the poet: wisawa szymborska (1July 2, 923-201February 2002 102), a Polish poetess, is the third poetess to win the Nobel Prize in Literature.
