Why is Japanese traditional culture well preserved?
Japan is a small country, very United, and there are few infighting, such as our Cultural Revolution. It is an island country and has invaded its neighbors many times. Apart from the two atomic bombs dropped by the United States, it has not been invaded by other countries, and has experienced a highly developed economy, and cultural relics are better preserved than us. But in a real sense, its culture has also undergone great changes. Young people are very westernized, mainly in America. A good example is that its vocabulary has been absorbed and is still absorbing a large number of foreign words. The overall cultural quality of the Japanese is high because Japan has attached great importance to education since the Meiji Restoration. After a long time, many manners and laws have become habits and passed down from generation to generation. Our 5,000-year-old excellent cultural tradition was destroyed so badly in the Cultural Revolution that it is not so easy to restore it.
These are my personal thoughts, so I smiled.
