Emergency room, also called emergency room. At present, many general hospitals and some specialized hospitals in large and medium-sized cities have set up emergency rooms, and are equipped with doctors, nurses and other medical personnel. According to 1986 China Health Yearbook (English version), there are 1 1497 hospitals at or above the county level in China that have set up emergency rooms and are equipped with qualified medical staff.
