Temple Fair Culture

The temple fair, also known as "temple market" or "festival". It is a traditional festival custom of Chinese culture in which people gather near temples to offer sacrifices to the gods, engage in entertainment, and do shopping. The temple fair is a traditional folklore activity widely spread in Chinese folklore.

Generally speaking temple fairs are festivals for various craftsmen, small business operators, hawkers, and jianghu sellers. It is found in Tianjin, Beijing, Henan, Hebei and Northeast China.
