How about Xiba Ancient Town of Wutongqiao in Sichuan? Is it fun?

Nowadays, more and more people like to pursue the traces of the past, and the rural flavor is also respected, which shows that people like to visit ancient towns more and more. Bian Xiao wants to introduce you to an ancient town that doesn't look like an ancient city. It has a primitive pastoral atmosphere, but it has a profound cultural heritage.

Nowadays, more and more tourists flock to the characteristic ancient towns, and the ancient town tour has become the darling of the tourism market. However, when it comes to the ancient town, we have to mention the west dam of Wutongqiao!

Walking into the Xiba ancient town in wutongqiao district, the old streets and teahouses make you feel like walking into yesterday's time. Cover a bowl of tea and pick up two cups of tea to evoke your childhood memories.

Snow-like tofu and Xiba ancient kiln ceramics spread among the people have penetrated time and reinterpreted the beauty of the ancient town and Xiba in front of them.

An ancient town, with a long history, can only shine with the infiltration of culture.

This is the case with Xiba. From the well-known Xiba tofu, to the 27 pieces derived from the pier culture, and then to Xiba kiln ceramics with ancient glaze, one by one shining cultural symbol makes Xiba carefree in its own history.

Take a cursory look at Xiba.

When it comes to Xiba, tofu is of course the first thing people think of. Sure enough, when I walked into Xiba Town, the first thing I saw was a Xiba tofu shop next to each other. The eye-catching shops, simple decoration and crowded customers show that the food culture here has long been deeply rooted in the hearts of the people.

On the main street of Xiba, the classic crossing building of Xiba can no longer be seen, and it is replaced by a bustling modern commercial street.

If tourists just want to leave after eating a meal of Xiba tofu for food and don't understand the culture and life of Xiba people, it is impossible to really be in Xiba.

When you walk behind the main street of Xiba, the real life of Xiba people is clearly visible. In Dahe Street and Zhu Min Street, although many residents have transformed their houses into brick-concrete structures, there are still old houses dotted among them.

Most of these old houses are wooden structures, and the houses fastened with tenons and mortises have withstood the years, earthquakes and storms. In the traditional barber shop in these two streets.

Shopkeepers still use traditional techniques to shave and shave their customers. Two or three steps in the old street is a small teahouse. Leisure Xiba people often make an appointment with two or three friends, order a bowl of tea, gather together a table, and spend the day in the creaking sound of old-fashioned fans.

Rich cultural symbols

Xiba town often has repeat customers, probably because Xiba, unlike some "hollow ancient towns", is full of antique roads, antique buildings and rows of restaurants and entertainment shops, but it has retained its own unique features in the development of modernization.

Xiba Town has been an important hub of land and water transportation since ancient times and an important post station of the Southern Silk Road. It is known as the "Xiba Water Wharf".

During the Ming and Qing Dynasties, the coal transportation in the western mountainous area of Xiba and the transshipment of salt and tea products in the surrounding areas relied on the Moxi River to communicate with the outside world, and the dock culture was developed. Wharf culture also gave birth to the famous Wutong Bridge, an intangible cultural heritage.

It is said that the Erqi Pickup was produced by the gathering of porters in charge of handling by salt merchants at the dock and using bamboo cards with different colors of hair and numbers for fun. The dried tofu stall, once famous at Xiba Ferry, has now moved to Xiba Street, attracting many diners to taste it.

The reconstructed Xiba Ferry has now become a leisure square for Xiba people, and the Xiba small band established this year rehearses here every week. The river wind at the ferry, mixed with the touching tunes of stringed pipe music, floated into the thousands of households in Xiba.

In addition, you must eat a bowl of tofu brain when you come to town ~ it's diagonally opposite Xiba Primary School! Although the history is not long, it is very popular with everyone!

If we want to say what is the most historic discovery of Xiba, it should be the Xiba kiln opened in Jianyi Village, Xiba Town in 2008 when Le Yi expressway was built.

According to the data, Xiba Kiln flourished in the late Tang Dynasty and the Five Dynasties, flourished in the Song Dynasty, declined in song and yuan war, and was burned in the early Ming Dynasty. The description of Xiba Kiln was recorded in the annals of Jiading Prefecture in Tongzhi of Qing Dynasty. Xiba kiln mainly produces celadon and black porcelain.

Judging from the cultural relics preserved in the world at present, the porcelain fired in this ancient kiln at that time, including exquisite black glaze kiln change, tortoise shell, oil drop, glaze (flower glaze) and so on, was dazzling and breathtaking, and was called "a wonderful work of ancient art" by Mr. Yan, a collector association of China.

"One color in the kiln, colorful in the kiln" is the unique feature of Leshan Xiba Kiln, which is different from other ancient kilns at the same time. Its appearance also fills the situation that there is no large-scale black glazed porcelain in the southwest border of China ancient ceramic history.

The first Xiba kiln professional museum in China, which shows the charm of Xiba kiln, is located in the "Emei Courtyard" under Emei Mountain.

There are more than 500 pieces of Xibayao ancient ceramics 1500 in the museum, which fully shows the essence of Xibayao ancient ceramics culture in Song Dynasty and attracts the attention of archaeologists and collectors at home and abroad.

The ancient rhyme means "the westernmost dam"

Why do you like ancient towns? Many people's answer is that living in an ancient town can escape the interference of reality.

But the real ancient town should be full of fireworks, maintain its unique temperament in the atmosphere of blending tradition and modernity, keep the ancient charm of history and tolerate new culture.

Xiba has only done it to a certain extent. In the atmosphere where modern and ancient rhymes complement each other, Xiba tofu has been passed down from generation to generation, and it keeps innovating while maintaining its original flavor.

Enthusiasts who are keen on Xiba kiln research not only set up museums, but also developed many modern derivatives based on Xiba kiln, actively promoting the protection and inheritance of Xiba kiln art.

Celebrities such as Yang, a master of root calligraphy, Zeng Zhiliang, an expert in ancient architecture, have also emerged in Xiba, and their works have gone to all corners of the country with the imprint of Xiba.

On September 12, Xiba was still held.
