What is used to clean the quartz sand in the sand tank?

Backwashing is used to remove suspended solids trapped in the sand box to restore the filtration capacity of the sand box. The backwashing speed and time must be mastered. If the filter material is quartz sand, the backwashing strength should not be less than 1.5l/(s. m2), and the backwashing time should be 5~6mim or until no suspended matter is observed in the backwashing water.

Sand cylinder backwashing is to use water or gas water to send into the filter from the direction opposite to the filtered water, so as to loosen the filter material layer and remove the dirt trapped on the surface of the filter material layer, thus restoring the filtering performance of the filter, ensuring the filtering effect, circulating water and reducing the energy consumption of the circulating water pump. Practice has proved that when the filter diameter is less than 1600mm, the application effect of backwashing is good, which is in line with the current economic situation.

Air washing before water washing can not only remove grease, but also reduce washing water consumption. The large-scale comprehensive swimming pool has a large number of swimmers, the swimming load changes greatly, and the pool water pollution is rapid. If the diameter of the filter is greater than 2000mm, it is suggested to adopt the backwashing method of gas-water combination when conditions permit to ensure the backwashing effect of quartz sand filter.

The sand box uses special sand filtration to eliminate the tiny dirt in the pool water. As a medium for removing dirt, the sand filter is filled in the cavity of the filter. The pool water passes through the filter, and the tiny dirt is captured and filtered by the sand bed. The filtered clean water passes through the control switch at the bottom of the filter and then returns to the pool through the pipeline. This whole program is continuous and automatic, and provides a complete cycle process for the filter and pipeline system.
