Brief introduction of China Musical Instrument Association

Approved by the Ministry of Civil Affairs, China Musical Instrument Association is an industrial social organization composed of enterprises, institutions, social organizations and individuals that coexist across regions and departments and with various economic types. It is an industry intermediary organization under the guidance of the government and undertakes the heavy responsibility of coordinated management of the whole industry. China Musical Instrument Association was established in March 1989, with more than 400 corporate members and more than 2,000 individual members, mainly Piano tuner and violin makers, with members all over the country. 1 Since the establishment of China Musical Instrument Association, it has adhered to the national industrial policy, carried out industry investigation and research, and done a lot of positive and effective work in formulating industry development plan, implementing famous brand strategy, cultivating musical instrument market, standardizing enterprise behavior, participating in the compilation of national professional standards and product standards for musical instrument industry, carrying out vocational skills training and appraisal, holding musical instrument exhibitions at home and abroad, providing information consulting services, carrying out industry technical exchanges, and assisting government departments. The secretariat of the Association's permanent establishment is located in Beijing, which is responsible for the daily work of the Association. The Secretariat consists of Information Department, ministry of materials and equipment, Exhibition Department, Business Office and other departments.
