What are the steps of the Yangge Dance

Range Song Dance is a traditional folk dance passed down in the north of China, originated from the farmers in tree planting, rice planting, harvesting and other agricultural activities to express joy, pray for a good harvest dance form. The dance movements of the Yangge Dance are varied, and there are several common steps:

Big stride: the left foot takes a big step forward, while the right foot follows the left foot forward, and then repeats this action, the whole pace of the rhythm of the light.

Three steps: take a step with your left foot, then quickly put your right foot on top of it, and finally bend your knees so that your left heel is placed on the ground in the shape of a fork.

Up and down jumps: Half bend your legs, jump up with your left foot and then down to the ground, then repeat with your right foot.

Hopping lawn: take a step to the left with your left foot while waving your hands around, then take a step to the right with your right foot and repeat the move.

Pointing the tablet: feet together, hands up, followed by the left foot to the left side of the step, landing on the left foot knee slightly bent, while the right hand stretches pointing to the right side, indicating that pointing to the inscription.

Lifting the leg and stepping: take a step forward with the left foot, step forward with the right foot following the left foot, then lift the left foot and repeat the action after landing on the left foot.
