Siamese Cat Color Types

Seal Accent Color: The traditional color of the Siamese cat, first appearing in Europe in the 1880s. The coat is fine, short and smooth, close to the body, relatively precocious, but can't mate and give birth until they are older. This type of Siamese cat is the best known of the Siamese cats. The accent color is partly close to black, and with the light brown body, it looks very noble.

Blue accent color: One of the traditional Siamese cats and one of the most popular breeds since the 1930s. It is said to be the most gentle and affectionate of the Siamese cats. This Siamese cat has a dark blue accent color area and a bluish white body, making this breed more valuable.

Chocolate Accent Color: Developed from the earlier seal-colored accent color Siamese cats, but only allowed to exhibit in 1950. The kittens are almost pure white and don't fully develop their chocolate colored spots until they are about a year old, and well-developed kittens tend to have darker accent colors as adults. This Siamese cat is the most common, with a creamy white body, quadruped, tail, and creamy chocolate face and ears.

Pale violet accent color: first appeared in a British exhibition in 1896, when it was eliminated because the accent color was "not blue enough". It is one of the four typical Siamese cats. It is a variant of the "blue accent color" with a creamy white body, and was only recognized worldwide in 1955. The Siamese cat is very popular with girls.

Red accent color: Originally called the "Orange Accent Cat", this cat was first shown in the UK in 1934, and was controversial because of the difference in fur color from the traditional Siamese cat. The cat was bred to a red tiger spotted Persian.

Milky yellow accent color: Like the red accent color, this is a new breed with delicate coloring, and is also known as the "cheese accent color" abroad.

Seal Tortoiseshell: This cat had dark color lines on its body in the early days, but now it has been largely eliminated, and is closely related to the red accent color Siamese cat. The seal tortoiseshell accent color Siamese cat's purr is louder than the average Siamese cat and is naturally loud.

Blue Tortoiseshell: The tortoiseshell pattern is derived from mating with tortoiseshell-colored short-haired cats, and has been screened to retain the physical characteristics of Siamese cats. Like other tortoiseshell-colored cats, it is almost exclusively female.

Chocolate tortoiseshell: in North America, a portion of the registry considers them to be accent-colored short-haired cats, while in the United Kingdom, people include it in Siamese cats. But both have been recognized.

Red Tabby: When the Siamese was introduced to Europe, it was known that the breed came in a variety of tiger accent colors, and the first tiger accent Siamese was described in 1902, but it was not until recently that the breed became famous. Early on they were known as the "Shadow Accent Siamese", then the "Bobcat Accent Siamese", and only in 1966 were they officially known in the UK as the "Red Tabby Accent Siamese In the UK, it was officially called the "red tiger spotted Siamese cat" in 1966.
