What material is RMB made of?
The renminbi printing paper is mainly cotton, and Xinjiang long-staple cotton accounts for about 95%. In addition, there are about 3% wood and other chemical materials. Compared with ordinary printed paper, the effective components of the former are mainly wood fiber and grass fiber, while the effective components of banknote printing paper are mainly kapok fiber or hemp fiber.
Therefore, this kind of coin paper made of cotton has the characteristics of smoothness, toughness, good rigidity, strong wear resistance, long-term fiber circulation, no looseness, no lint and no breakage, and it is not easy to fade even when it meets water.
In the case of making RMB, the statues and patterns in it are all realized together, not added in the middle and late period. When using RMB, users need to be careful not to scribble or deliberately destroy it, otherwise they will bear the responsibility.
