Four drum schools in lizhou.

Lizhou drum has experienced three stages: beggar-drummer-folk artist. After 400 years of tempering and continuous improvement of artists, it has become increasingly mature, forming four schools with the system of "Lizhou Mandarin": Dongqiang, Nanban, XiDiao and BeiLu. Li (1905- 1989) is a representative of western tunes. His singing is good at plot, his cavity board is more intense and fluent, his fluent words are not limited to seven words, his musical structure is more flexible, and there are a few local tunes in his music. Jin is the representative of Dongqian Opera, which combines some tunes of Harmony and is good at "singing" and lyricism. Future generations include Yu Zhenyang and Ma Lijun. The founder of Nanban is Su (1779- 1842). This school strictly abides by the ancestral teachings, inherits the tradition, has seven words of lyrics, and speaks mainly in "Lizhou Mandarin", so it is also called "Mandarin School" and "ravine flowing water board". Because of its tradition, its singing is standardized, its accompaniment is rigorous and its timbre is simple. The representative artists of Beilu Road include Liu Qingbin. There is no strict teacher-student relationship in this school. It absorbs the strengths of many artists and makes up for its shortcomings, so its singing is more flexible.
