First, what is "three supports and one support"?

On February 25th, 2006, the Organization Department of the Central Committee, the Ministry of Personnel (now Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security), the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Agriculture, the Ministry of Health, the the State Council Poverty Alleviation Office and the Central Committee of the Communist Youth League decided to jointly organize the "Three Supports and One Support". That is, the document 16 issued by the Ministry of Personnel in 2006, Notice on Organizing College Graduates to Support Education, Agriculture, Medicine and Poverty Alleviation in Rural Grassroots.

"Three Supports and One Support" means that college students go to rural grassroots to engage in supporting agriculture, teaching, supporting medicine and helping the poor after graduation. Its purpose is to provide concrete guidance and guarantee for college graduates to implement the employment problem at the grassroots level.

Teaching support: supporting the primary education in towns and villages, mainly engaged in primary and junior high school education in the 9-year compulsory education stage.

Medical support: support the primary medical and health undertakings in villages and towns, mainly engaged in clinical diagnosis and treatment, Chinese medicine diagnosis, medical rescue, medical examination, etc.

Supporting agriculture: supporting rural grass-roots agricultural production, mainly engaged in the construction of agriculture-related industries (planting, aquaculture, deep processing, etc.) ).

Poverty alleviation: support the poverty alleviation work at the grassroots level in towns and villages, mainly engaged in poverty alleviation related work in rural areas.
