What is Chinese painting?
Data expansion:
The tools and materials of Chinese painting are brush, ink, Chinese painting pigments, rice paper, silk and so on. Themes can be divided into figures, landscapes, flowers and birds. From the perspective of art history, the capitals before the Republic of China were collectively called ancient paintings.
Traditional Chinese painting has no clear name in ancient times, and it is generally called Danqing, which has its own system in the world art field. Chinese painting, as one of the four major arts of piano, chess, calligraphy and painting, embodies the ancient people's understanding of nature, society, politics, philosophy, religion, morality, literature and nature.
Chinese painting has obvious characteristics. Chinese painting, according to the comments on the ancient paintings of Sheikh in the Southern Dynasties, pays attention to "vivid charm", does not stick to physical images, but emphasizes the expression of the author's subjective interest. Chinese painting emphasizes "vivid with form" and pursues a feeling that "beauty lies between similarity and dissimilarity";
Pay attention to the charm of pen and ink, and the requirements for brushwork are: flat, round, staying, heavy and changeable. Ink method requires ink to be divided into five colors, coke, thick, heavy, light and clear; Pay attention to the "brushwork method", not to the focus perspective, and not to the influence of the environment on the light color change of the object;
Pay attention to the blank layout and the "momentum" of the object. Compared with foreign painting, it can be said that western painting is an art of "reappearance" and Chinese painting is an art of "expression". Chinese painting is to express "verve" and "realm".
China figure painting has a long history. According to records, there were murals in the Shang and Zhou Dynasties. Gu Kaizhi, who specializes in figure painting in the Eastern Jin Dynasty, was the first painter in the history of China painting who put forward the idea of "writing God with form".
Yan was also good at figure painting in Tang Dynasty. And Wu Daozi, Han Wo and so on. He has made great contributions to figure painting. After the Tang Dynasty, there were many painters who painted figure paintings, and there were all previous dynasties.
In order to draw a good figure painting, we should not only inherit the tradition, but also understand and study the basic shape, proportion, anatomical structure and the changing law of human movement, so as to accurately shape and express the shape and spirit of the figure. There are several ways to express characters, each with its own advantages, such as line drawing, cross filling, ink splashing, cross dyeing and so on.
