I. Introduction:
Bronzing process is a traditional metal processing technology, which can coat a golden metal film on the metal surface, thus giving it a sense of preciousness and luster. In ancient China, gold panning technology was widely used in palaces, temples, religious buildings, utensils, weapons, handicrafts and other fields, and became one of the treasures of traditional crafts in China.
Second, the production project:
1. Preparation: First, you need to prepare various tools and materials. Tools include metal products, scrapers, brushes, grindstones, polishing cloth, etc. Materials include gold foil, gold powder, glue, metallic paint, etc.
2. Surface treatment: surface treatment is carried out on the metal products to be inspected, so as to remove dirt and oxides on the surface and make the surface smooth. This step needs to be polished with grindstone and polishing cloth;
3. Primer treatment: coat a layer of primer on the surface of metal products to increase the adhesion of gold foil and play a protective role. The primer of gold foil can choose the colors of verdigris, cinnabar and cinnabar, which are in harmony with the color of gold foil;
4. Gold plating: spread gold foil on the surface of metal products and flatten it with a scraper. This step requires great care and patience to avoid gold foil tearing or bubbles. After laying the gold foil, brush the uneven surface of the gold foil with a brush to make its surface smoother;
5. Polishing: Polishing the gold-plated metal products to make their surfaces smoother and brighter. Polishing cloth or machine can be used for polishing;
6. Decorative treatment: Decorative treatment can be carried out on the surface of gold-plated metal products, such as gold powder, painting, carving, etc. This step needs to be carried out according to the specific needs and design;
Third, gold:
Gold plating is to melt gold and mercury into an alloy-gold amalgam at high temperature, evenly plate it on the surface of the vessel, and then heat and bake it to evaporate the mercury. Because the plated vessel receives heat energy, the surface is activated and molecules penetrate into gold, and gold can be transferred to the bronze surface, which is golden yellow. All this has to be done at high temperature, so it is also called hot stamping.
