The geographic location of Lixin County

Lixin County, located in the north of Anhui Province, was transferred from Fuyang to Bozhou City, Anhui Province in 2000. Lixin County is located in the southeastern part of Bozhou City, neighboring Eddy Yang in the north, Yingshang and Fengtai in the south, Mengcheng in the east, and Yindong District and Taihe County in the west. It is located between 115°54′-116°31′E longitude and 32°51′-33°27′N latitude. The natural slope drop is very small, slightly higher in the northwest and slightly lower in the southeast. The county has 26 townships, 668 village resident committees, 7,182 village groups, 117,000 hectares of arable land, and a total population of 1,420,000 (2006), of which 93.74% is agricultural. [edit paragraph] Natural ecology The climate is a warm temperate semi-humid monsoon climate. It has abundant sunshine, mild climate, moderate rainfall, and four distinct seasons. The year-round dominant wind direction is the southeast wind, followed by the northeast wind, and the dominant summer wind direction is the southeast wind. The average annual temperature is 14.8℃, the frost-free period is 215 days, and the average annual sunshine hours are 2223.4 hours. The average annual solar radiation is 124.7 kcal/cm2, and the average annual precipitation is 823.9 millimeters.

Lixin has longitudinal rivers and canals, intertwined roads, and easy access to water and land. County territory has a backbone of the river 4, 53 ditch, a total length of 750 kilometers, 106 kilometers of navigation, both storage and drainage of the benefits of fishing and navigation. West River, the ancient name of the Xia Fei water, from the northwest and southeast winding through the middle of the county; Gorgon River, the ancient name of the Shashui, also known as the Pu water, from the northwest and southeast winding through the eastern part of the county; Fumeng River, dug in 1958 artificial river across the middle of the county; Zihuaixinhe River, dug in the 70's artificial river, from the west to the east through the southern part of the county. There are 6 main highways and 23 feeder highways in the county, with a total length of 461.4 kilometers. The JieFuBeng highway was built and put into operation, which greatly facilitates the connection between Lixin and the outside world. There are also 412 rural roads with a total length of 1,581 kilometers, which can be used by medium-sized motor vehicles. The Sui-Fu Railway, which runs straight through the county, has four railway stations and plays an important role in transporting passengers and distributing semi-finished products for industry and agriculture.
