What is a candle?

Candles are made of wax or other fuels with a wick that burns continuously when lit. Candles are generally used for lighting, but they were gradually replaced by electric lamps after the electric power revolution, and now they are mostly used as back-up lighting in case of power outages. Candles are also used on festivals and other special occasions, and in places of worship. Candles are often burned at *** or group memorial services. Red candles are burned at traditional Chinese weddings for joyous occasions, and white candles are burned at funerals. Candles are also used for heating. Candles are made from animal fat, usually tallow or beeswax. Nowadays, they are usually made of paraffin wax, a petroleum by-product.

What is a candle? That's a very vague question! The main ingredient in candles is wax

What kind of wax is used to add other additives? Some use beeswax, some use vegetable waxes

Some use petrified waxes, and in the case of petrified waxes

it's usually fragrances, colorings, and polymers (in the form of waxes) that are added. If the wax is petrified,

it is usually added with fragrances, colors, and polymers (to increase the hardness). If the polymers contain chlorine, when burned, methylene chloride (suspected of being a carcinogen) is added, and if the candle is to last a long time,

some candles are added with anti-glare agents. p>

No fragrance or essential oils Good candles

burn with only carbon dioxide and water, but bad candles

emit harmful substances such as toluene or methylene chloride
