What does the inspection of building products include?
Material testing:
Cement: testing strength, fineness, setting time, stability, etc.
Concrete: testing compressive strength, flexural strength, water content, mix proportion, etc.
Steel: testing tensile strength, yield strength, elongation, bending properties, etc.
Bricks and blocks: testing compressive strength, water absorption, density, etc.
Sand and gravel aggregate: check particle gradation, silt content, crushing index, etc.
Component check:
Precast members: such as precast beams, slabs, columns, etc. , and their size, appearance quality, strength, etc. Tests should be carried out.
Reinforced concrete members: detect the position of reinforcement, the thickness of protective layer, the strength of concrete, etc.
Steel structure members: check welding quality, bolt connection, coating quality, etc.
Building structure inspection:
Bearing capacity test: including static load test and dynamic load test. To evaluate the actual bearing capacity of the structure.
Deformation monitoring: such as settlement, inclination, crack width, etc. To monitor the deformation and damage of the structure.
Nondestructive testing: such as ultrasonic testing, X-ray testing, magnetic particle testing, etc. To evaluate the internal defects of the structure.
Detection of building envelope system;
Doors and windows: test air tightness, water tightness, wind pressure resistance, sound insulation, etc.
Exterior wall and roof: test waterproof performance, heat insulation performance and wind pressure resistance.
Thermal insulation material: test thermal conductivity, combustion performance, water absorption, etc.
Inspection of construction equipment and installation works:
Electrical system: test the insulation resistance, grounding resistance and short circuit protection of electrical equipment.
Water supply and drainage system: test the tightness, water pressure test and drainage smoothness of the pipeline.
HVAC system: Test the cooling/heating capacity, air distribution and noise level of the system.
Indoor environment detection:
Air quality: detect the concentration of harmful gases such as formaldehyde, benzene, ammonia and TVOC.
Noise level: Test indoor noise and sound insulation effect.
Lighting: Test indoor lighting and lighting uniformity.
Fire detection:
Fire fighting equipment: test the performance of fire extinguishers, fire hydrants, fire alarm systems, etc.
Fire protection components: such as fire doors, fire shutters, etc. And its fire resistance and air tightness were tested.
Energy saving detection:
Energy consumption: evaluate the energy efficiency of buildings, such as energy consumption of heating, air conditioning and lighting systems.
Energy-saving measures: test the actual effect of energy-saving materials and equipment, such as heat insulation materials and energy-saving windows.
Through these tests, the quality and performance of building engineering products can be guaranteed, and the safety, reliability and durability of buildings can be guaranteed.
