Oil painting and what are the two major painting systems?

The two systems of painting are oriental painting represented by Chinese painting and western painting represented by oil painting.

2. China ink painting

Chinese painting is the general name of traditional painting in China. In a broad sense, Chinese painting includes all kinds of traditional paintings in China, but what we call Chinese painting usually refers to one with water as a blending agent and ink as the main pigment, also known as "ink painting" and "color ink painting". Chinese painting shows endless interest in lines, and ink instead of color shows its unique and rich artistic expression.
