What is the creative background of Scream?
Screaming is written in 19 18 to 1924. This period is a historical period of vigorous development of the May 4th New Culture Movement. The May 4th New Culture Movement is a great cultural movement in which the advanced intellectuals in China made a more comprehensive and profound reflection on the ancient traditional culture of China at a higher historical level than the "Westernization School" and the "Reform School", and then built the modern culture of China. It is also a large-scale anti-feudal ideological movement in China. Its core is to oppose old culture, advocate new culture, oppose old morality and advocate new morality. Lu Xun's Scream embodies the requirements and historical characteristics of the Cultural Revolution. The author's novels are intended to describe "the unfortunate in a morbid society", "expose suffering and attract the attention of treatment" and "shout" for the New Culture Movement. The works truly depict the social life from the Revolution of 1911 to the May 4th Movement, reveal various deep-seated social contradictions, deeply analyze and completely deny the feudal system and outdated traditional concepts, show a strong sense of national survival and a strong desire for social change, and become a mirror of China's anti-feudal ideological revolution.
