Creative display of traditional festivals

Dragon Boat Festival is one of the traditional festivals in China, which is celebrated every year on the fifth day of the fifth lunar month. On this special day, people will pack jiaozi together, race dragon boats, hang wormwood and wear colored silk thread to pray for peace and health. In order to inherit Chinese culture and show my creative talents, I participated in the Dragon Boat Festival Handwritten Newspaper Competition held by my school and won the first prize.

Creative conception of handwritten newspaper

Before taking part in the handwritten newspaper competition, I did a lot of research and learned about the origin and traditional customs of the Dragon Boat Festival. By consulting materials and reading related books, I got a deeper understanding of the Dragon Boat Festival and began to conceive the idea of handwritten newspapers.

First of all, I decided to take the origin of the Dragon Boat Festival as the theme and show the origin of the Dragon Boat Festival and related legends and stories in an illustrated way. I used colored paper and paper-cutting techniques to make exquisite patterns, accompanied by concise and clear text descriptions, so that people can understand the origin of the Dragon Boat Festival at a glance.

Secondly, I divide the handwritten newspaper into several parts to introduce the traditional customs and related activities of the Dragon Boat Festival. I used different colors and fonts to highlight the key points and make the handwritten newspaper more lively and interesting. I also added some interactive elements to the handwritten newspaper, such as folding zongzi and dragon boat activities, so that people can experience the fun of the Dragon Boat Festival.

Making steps of handwritten newspaper

1. Preparation materials: colored paper, scissors, glue, colored pen, thin thread, etc.

2. Design the layout and content of handwritten newspaper, and determine the theme and section.

3. Use colored paper and paper-cutting technology to make patterns and decorations.

4. Paste the patterns and words on the handwritten newspaper, and pay attention to typesetting and font selection.

5. Add interactive elements, such as folding and moving parts.

6. Modify the handwritten newspaper to add details and highlights.

7. Check the quality and accuracy of handwritten newspaper, and make necessary modifications and adjustments.

8. After the handwritten newspaper is completed, it will be displayed for publicity.
