The origin of ancient fireworks and firecrackers

Firecrackers originated in the Han Dynasty in China. It was named after the "crackling" sound when the ancients burned bamboo. Later, the invention of gunpowder promoted the progress of firecrackers. Now people call it "explosive war", "flower whip" or "whip" It is recorded in Dream of Tokyo that firecrackers are heard from New Year's Eve to beginning of spring. It can be seen that setting off firecrackers is a major event in the folk custom of the Spring Festival.
