Title: "Too Hasty? Tai Chi!

Composer: Zhao Jingzhu, Zheng Yaodong Lyrics: Zheng Yaodong
Sung by: Ma Chang
Flying punches and kicks are invincible
Drifting around without revealing the figure
This is not kung fu magical QianKun Da NuoYuan
The fantasy miracle of fidgeting in front of the office desk
The traffic is crowded like a snail plowing the land
The wind and fire are busy in the morning at sunset
Now listen to me sing this song
Look at me, healthy and happy, and no one can beat me
(Loving yourself is our only theme)
Learn Tai Chi with me and don't be in a hurry
Everlastingly healthy and powerful
This is the best way to learn Tai Chi, but I'm not sure if you want to learn Tai Chi.
Learn Tai Chi with me, please don't be in a hurry
Control your irritable emotions
(RAP)
Working and off-duty, overtime, overtime, people become biscuits
Sore back, sore legs, sore stomach, sore heart, it's really embarrassing
Ask to ask and find out is the body is protesting
Drop the mouse and stretch out to learn Tai Chi with me

Although the name of "Tai Chi" is raised, the actual theme focus is not like other similar songs with martial arts explanations and heavy historical and cultural backgrounds, instead, the creation of a more relaxed and happy with the "sub-healthy" "busy life " "9 to 5" mood impatience "" traffic congestion " and so on more realistic subject matter based.

About Ma Chang's song
"Tai Chi"
Title: "Tai Chi"
Lyrics: Eleven LessComposer: Mark
Sung by: Ma Chang
Ink and paper paintings of a heaven and a earth
Mountains, rivers, and rivers stretched out in the bottom of the eye
Line of clouds and flowing water are elegant and poetic
Without pole, Tai Chi is the most important thing. Seeing the vitality of everything
Turning around for a thousand years, the picture jumps around and I am standing here
Chinese Taiji writes the legend and the trend will never end
Taiji Taiji, the charm of the Orient
To keep fit and healthy and to harmonize the philosophies of yin and yang
Taiji Taiji embraces heaven and earth in its chest
Tianren is united with nature
Taiji Taiji is more and more beautiful the more you practice it.
Ancient culture also has the charm of fashion
Taiji Taiji moves with me
The beauty of Taiji is also dynamic and static
I dive into the wonders of Taiji and realize that goodness is like water, virtue is like a material thing
Philosophical boxing wisdom is condensed in the magnanimity of the Chinese culture
Looking at the falling sun and listening to the waterfalls and the cock crowing in the east
I watch the sunset and listen to the waterfalls and the dawn in the East
I am as quiet as a crane dancing in the river.
I am as quiet as a crane dancing like a tiger who can keep up with me

What I'm Doing
It took me a long time to think of this phrase to name this article. Many of you may want to ask: "Ma Chang, what are you doing? , a Tai Chi champion, now tossing and turning, not a good job? What in the world are you doing this for?" Oh, may be like dad said, I am a tai chi "experiment", because I walk the road is not walked before, I am exploring, I am trying.
Remember when I graduated from Beijing Sport University in 2006, that time the resume is really not a lot of input, sent to various universities, secondary schools, elementary school, perhaps at that time, the most suitable for our professional career is to be a teacher, so I am not willing to be followed, and all the students, as much as the resume is sent, huh, really can not recall how many issued. Although it was already quite difficult to find a job at that time, I was still "lucky" to receive notices from several schools, perhaps because of good grades! And during this period, there are many elders and I have exchanged about my employment and choice of issues, that time really contradictory, but also from time to time to doubt their own choices. Perhaps because there are too many choices! In the end, after some painful choices, I chose my current "road"!
Dad often said to me, people live a life, in addition to enjoying the existing good, it is more important to understand their own responsibilities, how to be a contributing member of society, huh, as if these words are more official, right? But dad really is often so and I said, not at all exaggerated.
Started at the age of 2 to now, Tai Chi, accompanied me for more than 20 years, huh, what can I do now? I am a person who knows how to cherish, more than 20 years of emotion, I can't give up so much, if I give up, not only is it irresponsible to myself, but also irresponsible to such a valuable culture.
In these more than 20 years, traveling all over the world with my father, plus a few years of college life, and many times the experience of the competition, let me see the prospects and shortcomings of the Taiji market from a lot of sides, I want to innovate, because I want to develop.
I like to do programs, performances, singles and movies, but what I like more is that after these activities, more people like Taiji, understand Taiji, and view Taiji from another angle! And every performance is also a good opportunity for me to learn about Tai Chi from the perspective of different audiences. People from different industries, different ages, different genders, what kind of Tai Chi do they like, and what is their purpose of learning Tai Chi? What are the reasons they like Tai Chi?
I don't want to be a "frog in the well" in the martial arts world, who only sees his own surroundings and doesn't know the outside world, and doesn't change himself. We are indeed the purveyors of the traditional culture, but the traditional culture has to be expressed in new ways in the new era.
I don't want to be in the state of teaching at the age of 40 or 50, because even if I have a lot of "ink" in my stomach, you may not recognize the so-called "philosophy of life" that I have taught, because you will feel that I don't have the experience, I don't have the experience. I have not experienced, I have not experienced. Indeed, I am still accumulating; however, I can now give you a lecture on boxing, boxing theory and culture, and use my understanding as a young man of the post-80s to talk about the Taiji culture in my heart, the Taiji culture that everyone can recognize and agree with, the Taiji culture with fresh and fashionable elements; also use my way as a young man of the post-80s to show my Taiji style, and interpret a Taiji charm that is neither lost in the tradition nor lacking in the characteristics of the times. I will also show my Taiji style in the way of a young man in the 80s, to interpret a Taiji charm that does not lose the tradition but does not lack the characteristics of the times, and to create a new element of Taiji that is acceptable to men and women. When I reach the "Taiji age" recognized by everyone, the Taiji I explain will have more colors, more experiences and more feelings.
All in all, I'm enjoying my meaningful life now, because I think I'm doing something meaningful, and I've got a good start, but it's not enough, and I'll continue to insist on it, because I want to see the final result, whether it's good or bad. Since I'm doing it, I'm going to be a real "experiment" of "Tai Chi". Even if the "experiment" fails, I also think I am a success, because this is the road I chose, other people have not walked the road, only I have enjoyed the sweet and sour!
Now there are a lot of friends, including some of my "pony group" friends, they will be very concerned about me, which has hope, concern, and worry. Because we are afraid that Chang has lost himself, lost his most valuable things, become a victim of reality, Tai Chi is no longer continue to study in depth, and so on, Chang is here to thank you, and I hope that my friends can rest assured that I will always know who I am, and will always know where I come from, and will know which way to go, and which way not to go. Please bear witness that Ma Chang will always be the Ma Chang that we all know now, the real Ma Chang, the sincere Ma Chang, the upwardly mobile Ma Chang, the persistent and hard-working Ma Chang, the cheerful and optimistic Ma Chang!
In the days to come, no matter what I do, it will be inseparable from Taiji, Ma Chang and Taiji are complementary, as long as it is beneficial to the promotion of Taiji and the development of Taiji, Ma Chang - the first to bear the brunt!
Classic Quotes
Ma Chang Quote 1:
I don't exclude everything I can do, because all of these are centered around my Taiji, if I didn't have the accumulation of the previous 20 years or so, I wouldn't have so many choices nowadays, so some performances involving the entertainment industry as well as performances are acceptable to me, because this is one of the main ways of spreading Taiji, spreading the traditional Chinese culture. I'm not sure if I can do that, but I think it's a good idea to do it.
I sing Taiji, and then I perform Taiji through singing, as long as one person likes it, it means that what I am doing is meaningful. On the stage, I show more of the Taijiquan fast and slow, spacious and generous, rigid and flexible, but in teaching and my own practice, I show a calm and steady, light and natural, virtual and real conversion. You can obviously feel that my performance on the stage is completely different from the form of expression in my teaching CD. So I hope to use more forms, forms that I can do, forms that do not go against the common sense, to guide people to like Taiji and practice Taiji.
Ma Chang Quote 2:
It is my honor that people like me and my Tai Chi. I hope that people also look at me and my Tai Chi with an opposing point of view. I am not perfect, because there is no perfect person or thing in the world, I would rather be in the "imperfect" space, doing "imperfect" things, because this is "imperfect"! I am the "imperfect" me! I am doing what all Tai Chi practitioners should be able to do, but no one is doing. There are only two ways to succeed or fail! Is it scary? No! Because I'm not afraid, I've come this far. What will happen? I don't know. What I do know is to keep charging! In this way, only between the perfect and imperfect to find the most balanced me!
Ma Chang Quotes 3:
I am a martial artist, but I vow not to be a vulgar martial artist. I can play with swords and sticks, but this is not my only thing, because I have a more noble pursuit, that is, "the connotation of the martial artist". Connotation doesn't need to be shown, but rather it comes out naturally and unintentionally. That's what I'm after.
Today's era, not just rely on the fists and feet can break into the world of the era, more need is a taste, the pursuit of the outlook on life, I hope to improve their own kung fu, improve, improve; I hope to improve their own life, improve, improve; improve their personality, improve their own training, improve their own cultural literacy
Today's society, a kung fu and then high "Empty shell", a sword can play again smallpox Lan fall "demonstrator", will be with the loss of time and people are tired of watching, so I am a make their own mind more perfect "demonstrator Therefore, I am a "demonstrator" to make my mind more perfect. Because I want to be an "elegant martial artist"!
Ma Chang Quotes 4:
I value every honor I have received, any honor, these honors are not achievements that make me complacent, these honors are the source of my self-confidence, is the power to make me move forward. Whether others think these are important or not, but at least in my life, in my life, is indispensable.
Ma Chang Quotes 5:
Taiji, as a valuable legacy of traditional Chinese culture, must be inherited and carried forward by more young people, so it seems that I am very old, but the fact is that this is the case, since I was a child and my father traveled all over the world, met a lot of seniors in the field of taiji, and graduated from the Beijing University of Physical Education and Sports, and I feel that I need to do something for the many years of taiji. Seeing so many imported sports slowly occupying our lives, in fact, there are some bitter, those forms are really good? Are those forms really good, or are they just going with the flow? Anyway, the fact that they have developed means that they are really effective. On the other hand, Taijiquan "good" is not said, but done. Where is it good? In fact, the most important thing to reflect on is the "Taiji people", how we ourselves do, we give everyone to witness the Taiji is a kind of what kind of state? So, let's work together!
Title: I learned Taiji with my father (This article was published in "Chinese Martial Arts") in 2004
When I could face the colorful world with my eyes clearly, the first thing that came into my eyes was my father's vigorous figure of practicing boxing. When I couldn't sit up, I watched my dad practicing boxing, and I danced along with him. Dad had many students, and there were always many Tai Chi enthusiasts around him, including "foreigners". Later I realized that my father is the twelfth generation of Chen's Taijiquan, and he learned his art in Chenjiagou, the birthplace of Taijiquan. According to my mom, my dad has lost his family's money for the cause of Taijiquan. Until today, we still have no place to live, no home of our own. Wherever Dad goes, he teaches Taiji. Wherever he went, he taught Kung Fu. It was in this displaced environment that I gradually grew up ....
When I was able to walk, I followed my father's back to practice boxing, but at that time it was only according to the text of the gourd to draw a dipper. I'm not sure how much I'm going to be able to do this, but I'm sure I'm going to be able to do it, and I'm going to be able to do it. So every time the kindergarten has any activities, I will be on the stage performance, every performance will be different from the "generous" prize. Now I'm practicing even more vigorously.
When I was 5 years old. My father started a taiji class at the Nongken Cadre College in Heilongjiang Province, with hundreds of students. At the end of the report, I saw other people perform, I could not sit still, and even strutted to the podium to the host said: I also perform. The host agreed to my request, and I drew a complete picture of Chen's Taijiquan old frame. Applause from the stage, sitting on the lookout mom cried.
At that time, my father taught me to practice taiji, but also just let me play around, practicing boxing for me is also too easy, quite interesting. But Dad was different, he paid too much for martial arts, for the cause of Tai Chi. No matter in spring, summer, autumn or winter, when I was sleeping, when I was playing, he practiced Taiji day after day in the spring wind, under the scorching sun, on the fallen leaves and in the snow. His name, Ma Guoxiang, was also y imprinted in the minds of the majority of Taiji enthusiasts, and I could see clearly and distinctly all that my father had paid for Taiji, and I envied him very much for his Taiji kungfu, and worshipped him even more for his dedication, and I was determined to be a Taijiquanist like my father, and with my entreaty, my father formally began to teach me Taijiquan, and I was twelve years old in that year.
Since then, under my father's strict requirements, I have not slept lazily. Whether it was New Year's Eve or the first day of the Lunar New Year, whether it was windy or rainy, my father had to wake me up from a beautiful dream. My father, who was usually kind and gentle, became so strict when he taught me boxing, asking me to meet the specifications for each movement. To be honest, my father had beaten me for training, and I was really afraid of him, although I practiced again and again with tears in my eyes, he still didn't relax at all. Sometimes when my father saw that a movement was not practiced well several times, he punished me hundreds of times, and my legs were swollen from squatting. My mother couldn't bear to see me suffer so much, and advised me to give up practicing Tai Chi, but I am stubborn by nature, since I chose this path, I should go on strongly and never turn back.
"The fragrance of plum blossoms comes from bitter cold", under the strict requirements of my father, when I was fourteen years old, I won the first place in Taijiquan of Harbin Children's Wushu Competition, and in the same year in the International Wushu Exchanges Meeting of the Dalian Super Said Cup, my Chen's Taijiquan and Taiji Sword won the first place in the competition. Taijiquan and Taiji Sword won the silver medal. At that time, so many domestic and foreign taijiquan athletes came over to praise me, I really thought I had practiced very well, but my father still pointed out so many problems to me. Hey, how can I be complacent when the sea of learning is endless? This is just my first step in my Tai Chi career!
As I grew older, my father demanded more from me in order for me to reach higher podiums. He taught me the theory of boxing in depth, and he did not spare every subtle movement until he was satisfied. He took me to many competitions at all levels and won the first place in Taijiquan. After that, he took me to Chenjiagou, the birthplace of Chen's Taijiquan, three times and took part in international Taijiquan competitions. In 1999, I was admitted to Beijing Physical Education University with excellent results. In the north body many times won the first-class scholarship, but also was named the three good students, in 2004 I was led by my father for the first time to participate in the national wushu taijiquan competition, and the first to go on the field, with their own strength, won the first place in Chen's taijiquan in one fell swoop, realizing the long-cherished wish of my father and me for many years, whenever I make a little achievement, I will be inspired from my father's gratified smile, and it seems to him that he is encouraged by my growth from my saw the hope of Chinese martial arts into the 2008 Olympic Games ......
