All ethnic groups in Bingzhongluo have rich and colorful national cultures, among which Dulong is a mysterious representative.

Dulong is one of the 28 ethnic groups with less population in China, with a population of about 7,000 (according to the data of 20 10 census), which is distributed in the valley of Dulong River Basin in Gongshan Dulong Nu Autonomous County. They have their own language, but they don't have their own language. They are called "Ren Xun" in history books.

Tattoo tradition:

Tattooing is not only an ancient custom followed by the Dulong people for thousands of years, but also a part of the life experience of tattooed women. When a girl reaches the age of 12 or 13, she needs tattoos to symbolize adulthood. During the lecture, an elderly and experienced woman first drew a pattern on the girl's face with a bamboo stick dipped in pot smoke water, then struck the thorn with a small wooden stick or a wooden stick with a needle to make it pierce the skin according to the pattern, then rubbed the ash or grass juice at the bottom of the pot into the wound, and then took off the scab skin to form a blue-green pattern.

Pattern style:

There are generally two kinds of patterns on the tattoo surface: in the middle and upper reaches of Dulongjiang River, there are five or six diamond patterns connected from the eyebrows to the bridge of the nose, and then they spread out to both sides of the nose with the mouth as the center, and continue to stab the small diamond patterns. The small diamond patterns meet in the lower jaw through the cheeks to form a square circle, in which the stripes stab vertically and the dot patterns stab horizontally to the eyes from above the square circle. The whole pattern is like a butterfly spreading its wings. The lower reaches of Dulongjiang River are relatively simple, generally only two or three lines of vertical stripes are written on the mandible.

Historical destiny:

According to historical records and folklore, the origin of the custom of tattooing faces of Dulong women has its specific historical reasons. In the centuries of 60 years before liberation, the forces of neighboring Tibetan Tusi and Lisu slave owners continued to infiltrate into Dulong area and brutally exploited and squeezed Dulong. In this special social and historical environment, in order to avoid being plundered and trampled by the toast, Dulong women had to take a passive way to save themselves: they would rather endure the pain and carve their faces into "black ink marks" that can never be washed away, becoming unlike people and ghosts, making strangers afraid and afraid to approach.

State of grain surface:

Dulong tattoo girl is one of the few tattoo cultures in the world. Nowadays, young women in Dulong no longer have tattoos. But today, the older generation's lone dragon girl is still a living fossil of tattoo culture. On June 20 13, Qi Nai, the last tattoo artist in Dulongjiang, died of a serious illness, which meant that the ancient and cruel tattoo technique was completely extinct.
