Five basic types of organizational structure
The five basic types of organizational structure are linear, functional, linear-functional, divisional, and matrix.
1, linear organizational structure
Organization of each manager of its direct subordinates have direct authority; organization of each person can only report to a direct superior, that is, "a person, a head"; managers in the scope of its jurisdiction, have absolute authority or complete authority.
2. Functional organizational structure
Adopts the specialization of management according to the functional division of labor to replace the linear all-powerful managers; each functional body in its own scope of business can be issued to the subordinate orders and instructions, and directly direct the subordinates.
3, linear-functional organizational structure
Combined linear and functional organizational characteristics.
4, divisional organizational structure
Centralized policy, decentralized operation; independent operation, separate accounting.
5, matrix organizational structure
There is a functional division of the vertical leadership system; and the structure of the horizontal leadership system by project.
Three elements of enterprise organizational structure:
1, the setup of units, departments and positions
