What is good for adjusting the climate in winter?

Drawing lessons from the cold and antifreeze measures of vegetables in previous years, vegetable farmers can not only fertilize and water vegetables at seedling stage or vegetative growth stage, but also cultivate strong seedlings of vegetables with the help of plant growth regulators to increase the stress resistance of vegetables and achieve the purpose of cold and antifreeze. Cold weather means that the temperature is relatively low. Too low temperature will cause vegetables to take root, sprout, grow slowly or even stop. When it reaches a relatively low temperature, it may be frozen, and its growth will be slow or even unrecoverable.

So for growing vegetables, vegetables are most afraid of high temperature, high humidity and low temperature, and these bad factors will lead to vegetable diseases. Secondly, after the autumn and winter festivals, many vegetables can't resist the cold. If cold protection measures are not taken, fresh air should be exercised repeatedly on sunny days: the outdoor temperature is about-10℃, and the highest indoor temperature can reach above 32℃ on sunny days in winter, so fresh air should be exercised repeatedly.

In areas where vegetables are produced out of season in winter, it is required to choose places with warm climate, abundant sunshine, low altitude or hills in plain areas, convenient water sources and suitable soil conditions, and use wind barriers (such as mountain barriers or other buildings in the north) for freezing treatment as much as possible, which are often used for melons and eggplant vegetables. The method is: freezing the expanded seeds to be germinated at about 0℃ for 1-2 days, and then sowing, which can promote germination and enhance the cold resistance of seedlings.

The tomato or cucumber seeds that are about to germinate for 12- 18 hours are placed at a lower temperature of 1-5 degrees Celsius every day, and then transferred to a higher temperature of 18-22 degrees Celsius 12-6 hours, and this is repeated for several days, which can significantly improve vegetable seedlings.
