Why is KIA Chi running cold start engine noisy?

Generally speaking, there are three reasons why automobile engines make noise during cold start:

1. When the temperature is low in winter, the oil fails to achieve the best lubrication effect in a short time after cold start, and the engine may have a slight abnormal sound; 2. The hydraulic tappet can't be filled with enough engine oil in a short time, and there is a gap between the hydraulic tappet and the rocker arm, resulting in regular noise;

3. Due to carbon deposition in the valve, the gap may be too large, resulting in abnormal sound.

If accompanied by a significant increase in fuel consumption and insufficient power, it may be caused by carbon deposition; If there is no obvious difference between fuel consumption and power, it may be the first two reasons, which is normal.

I suggest you go to the 4S shop for inspection and maintenance. If everything is all right, I suggest: 1, you choose high-quality fuel. 2, often high-speed operation, start long-term high-speed operation can burn a certain amount of carbon deposit.
