Hunchun has a mild and humid climate, warm in winter and cool in summer, with an annual average temperature of 5.65℃, an average precipitation of 617.9mm and a frost-free period of 140- 160 days. Because it is close to the Sea of Japan, it is not too cold in winter and too hot in summer. The average temperature in August is 2 1.2℃, which is a good place for summer vacation.
