Social media literacy (1)

I started eating in August 2008. No, I started using Twitter in June+February 5438. I was an early user of Weibo, and I also dealt with Weibo in my later work experience. I can only say that I love and hate social media represented by Weibo. On the one hand, social media dismembered the monopoly of traditional media and even traditional online media on news events. In the dissemination of major news events, both twitter and Sina Weibo have the upper hand. Of course, Les died suddenly because of the incident (reborn, but marginalized). On the other hand, due to the massive information and rapid refresh of social media, people's reading and thinking are further fragmented, and the "bottom line" of many people's reading and writing is directly reduced from a few hundred words in the blog era to 140 words today. When I was working in Weibo, I sighed: I tore myself up every day and posted it when I got home at night.

Now, my work has nothing to do with Weibo, but from the perspective of personal development, Weibo and twitter are still my important sources of information. The reason lies in its rapid information dissemination mechanism. Here I want to talk about how to build my own filter on social media.

This article doesn't talk about WeChat, because I have been adhering to the view that WeChat has never had and will never have a media effect. It is only a part of Tencent's mobile ecology and inherits Tencent's "communication" gene. Weibo, Twitter and even instagram all have media attributes. From these social media, we can see more outside world.
