Crossing, knotting and joining are the three stabilizing structural relationships that yarns can form, allowing the fabric to maintain a stable form as well as specific mechanical properties.
The Origin of Fabrics
Far back in time, humans and some animals, insects and birds were able to intertwine and interlock tiny threads and connect them to form larger pieces that could be utilized for certain shapes and functions. The initial spinning and orderly weaving began about 6,000 years ago: people began to use the shuttle to interspersed spinning into a longer yarn, woven woven fabrics; with the help of stick, hook, needle and other traction yarn winding, knitted fabrics; the use of alkaline substances to make animal fur felt shrinkage, made of non-woven fabrics class of felt.
After a long period of handmade workshop production practice, exploration and improvement, the functional efficiency of the weaving tools continue to improve, the selection of textile raw materials processing gradually fine, the organization of the structural approach to innovation. And the rapid development and industrialization of the textile industry is with the development of new materials, machinery manufacturing, electromechanical power control and other modern industrial development, in nearly one hundred years only completed. Today, weaving tools, textile raw materials, organizational structure still continue to develop in the direction of new technologies and high technology.
